Aditya Hridaya Stotra Three

Aatapii Mannddalii Mrtyuh Pinggalas-Sarva-Taapanah |
Kavir-Vishvo Mahaa-Tejaah Raktas-Sarva-Bhavo[a-U]dbhavah ||14||

Meaning:
14.1: (Salutations to the Sun God) His great orb (Mandala) which is full of Heat is like an incarnation of Death (Mrityu), having Reddish Brown colour and burning everything within it,
14.2: He is a Poet who creates the World (by supplying energy for activities); His great Fiery Energy, Red in colour, gives rise to this entire Worldly Existence,

नक्षत्र ग्रह ताराणाम् अधिपो विश्वभावनः ।
तेजसामपि तेजस्वी द्वादशात्मन्-नमोऽ‌स्तु ते ।।15।।
नमः पूर्वाय गिरये पश्चिमायाद्रये नमः ।
ज्योतिर्गणानां पतये दिनाधिपतये नमः ।।16।।

नक्षत्र, ग्रह और तारों के अधिपति, विश्वभावन ( विश्व की रक्षा करने वाले ), तेजस्वियों में भी तेजस्वी और द्वादशात्मा को नमस्कार है।। पूर्वगिरि उदयाचल तथा पश्चिमगिरि अस्ताचल के रूप में आपको नमस्कार है। ज्योतिर्गणों ( तारों और ग्रहों ), के स्वामी तथा दिन के अधिपति को नमस्कार है।।

Nakssatra-Graha-Taaraannaam-Adhipo Vishva-Bhaavanah |
Tejasaam-Api Tejasvii Dvaadasha-[A]atman-Namo[ah-A]stu Te ||15||

Meaning:
15.1: (Salutations to the Sun God) He is the presiding Deity of Constellations (Nakshatras), Planets (Graha) and Stars (Tara), and conceives the whole Universe in his mind (i.e. his scope of influence is universal),
15.2: He has more Energy of Splendour (Tejas) than even the most Energetic; Salutations to You who has twelve Atmans (i.e. 12 Adityas – Varuna, Mitra, Aryama, Bhaga, Amshuman, Dhata, Parjamya, Tvashtha, Vishnu, Pushya, Vivasvan),Namah Puurvaaya Giraye Pashcimaaya-Adraye Namah |
Jyotirgannaanaam Pataye Dina-Adhipataye Namah ||16||

Meaning:
16.1: Salutations to him in the Eastern Mountains (when He is rising); Salutations to him in the Western Mountains (when He is setting),
16.2: Salutations to the Lord of the group of Luminaries (Jyotirgana) and (Salutations to) the Lord of the Day (Dinadhipati),

जयाय जयभद्राय हर्यश्वाय नमो नमः ।
नमो नमः सहस्रांशो आदित्याय नमो नमः ।।17।।
नम उग्राय वीराय सारङ्गाय नमो नमः ।
नमः पद्मप्रबोधाय मार्ताण्डाय नमो नमः ।।18।।

जो जय के रूप हैं, विजय के रूप है, हरे रंग के घोड़ों से युक्त रथ वाले भगवान् को नमस्कार है। सहस्रों किरणों से प्रभावान आदित्य भगवान को बारम्बार नमस्कार है।। उग्र, वीर तथा सारंग सूर्य देव को नमस्कार है। कमलों को विकसित करने वाले प्रचंड तेज वाले मार्तण्ड को नमस्कार है।।

Jayaaya Jaya-Bhadraaya Hary-Ashvaaya Namo Namah |
Namo Namas-Sahasra-Amsho Aadityaaya Namo Namah ||17||

Meaning:
17.1: Salutations again and again to Him who gives Victory, Salutations again and again to Him who makes the Victory Auspicious, Salutations again and again to Him with Reddish Horses who bear the World,
17.2: Salutations again and again to Him who spreads Himself in Thousand parts (as Rays), and Salutations again and again to Him Who is the Son of Aditi (Aditya),
Nama Ugraaya Viiraaya Saaranggaaya Namo Namah |
Namah Padma-Prabodhaaya Maartannddaaya Namo Namah ||18||

Meaning:
18.1: Salutations again and again to Him who is Powerful (Ugra) and Eminent (Vira), Salutations again and again to Him, who has a colorful Body (Saranga),
18.2: Salutations again and again to Him who awakens (i.e. blossoms) the Lotus Flower, Salutations again and again to that Martanda (another name of Surya Deva),

ब्रह्मेशानाच्युतेशाय सूर्यायादित्य-वर्चसे ।
भास्वते सर्वभक्षाय रौद्राय वपुषे नमः ।।19।।
तमोघ्नाय हिमघ्नाय शत्रुघ्नाया मितात्मने ।
कृतघ्नघ्नाय देवाय ज्योतिषां पतये नमः ।। 20।।

आप ब्रम्हा, शिव विष्णु के भी स्वामी हैं, सूर आपकी संज्ञा है, यह सूर्यमण्डल आपका ही तेज है आप प्रकाश से परिपूर्ण हैं। सबको स्वाहा करने वाली अग्नि स्वरुप हे रौद्र रूप आपको नमस्कार है।। अज्ञान, अंधकार के नाशक, शीत के निवारक तथा शत्रुओं के नाशक आपका रूप अप्रमेय है। कृतघ्नों का नाश करने वाले देव और सभी ज्योतियों के अधिपति को नमस्कार है।।

Brahme[a-Ii]shaana-Acyute[a-Ii]shaaya Suurya-[A]aditya-Varcase |
Bhaasvate Sarva-Bhakssaaya Raudraaya Vapusse Namah ||19||

Meaning:
19.1: (Salutations to Him) Who is the Lord of Brahma, Ishana (Shiva) and Acyuta (Vishnu), and Who has the Vital Power and Splendour of an Aditya,
19.2: Salutations to Him who has the (Terrible) Form of Rudra, which shines and consumes all,Tamo-Ghnaaya Hima-Ghnaaya Shatru-Ghnaaya-Amita-Atmane |
Krtaghna-Ghnaaya Devaaya Jyotissaam Pataye Namah ||20||

Meaning:
20.1: (Salutations to Him) Who is the destroyer of Ignorance (Tamaghna), (Salutations to Him) Who is the destroyer of Frigidity (Inertness) (Himaghna), (Salutations to Him) Who is the destroyer of Enemies (Satrughna) and (Salutations to Him) Who is the Infinite Atman,
20.2: Salutations to Him Who is the destroyer of the Ungrateful (Kritaghna), (Salutations to Him) Who is the Divinity Who showers Light (to all),

तप्त चामीकराभाय वह्नये विश्वकर्मणे ।
नमस्तमो‌ऽभि निघ्नाय रुचये लोकसाक्षिणे ।। 21।।
नाशयत्येष वै भूतं तदेव सृजति प्रभुः ।
पायत्येष तपत्येष वर्षत्येष गभस्तिभिः ।। 22।।

आपकी प्रभा तप्त स्वर्ण के समान है आप ही हरि ( अज्ञान को हरने वाले ), विश्वकर्मा ( संसार की रचना करने वाले ), तम ( अँधेरा ) के नाशक, प्रकाशरूप और जगत के साक्षी आपको नमस्कार है।
हे रघुनन्दन, भगवान् सूर्य देव ही सभी भूतों का संहार, रचना और पालन करते हैं। यही देव अपनी रश्मि (किरणों ) से तप ( गर्मी ) और वर्षा हैं।।

Tapta-Caamiikara-[A]abhaaya Vahnaye Vishva-Karmanne |
Namas-Tamo-[A]bhinighnaaya Rucaye Loka-Saakssinne ||21||

Meaning:
21.1: (Salutations to Him) Who has the splendour of Molten Gold, (Salutations to Him) Who is the Fire giving Energy for all the Activities of the World,
21.2: Salutations to Him Who subdues the Darkness, (Salutations to Him) Who has a Beautiful Splendor, and (Salutations to Him) Who is the witness of the World,
