Aditya Hridaya Stotra

The most powerful prayer in praise of Surya, the Sun God. It was recited by Lord Rama before the battle with Ravan.
A stotra to invoke the power of the Sun God , which is ansh of the Primordial Supra Cosmic Consciousness, which existed even before the Planets & Stars were formed , and the Universe as we know it. It is Avahanam of the one who formed the Hirinyagarbha SAVITR.
When Rama got disheartened by fighting Ravana and when he could not kill him inspite cutting his head, piercing his heart, he was dejected. The worried Devi Devatas sent Rishi Agastya he given him deeksha of Shree Aditya Hriday Stotra.. Those who want velour, invincible strength Godly confidence may worship Lord Aditya.
Aditya Hriday Stotra is very significant highly respected and efficacious when done rightly. The great astrologer Varahamira and his father Aditya Das worshiped only the Sun God.
Krishna himself prayed and worshiped Surya every day.

Aditya Hridaya Stotra : ध्यानम् : नमस्सवित्रे जगदेक चक्षुसे जगत्प्रसूति स्थिति नाशहेतवे
त्रयीमयाय त्रिगुणात्म धारिणे विरिञ्चि नारायण शङ्करात्मनेआदित्यहृदय स्तोत्र
ॐ अस्य आदित्य हृदयस्तोत्रस्यागस्त्यऋषिः अनुष्टुपछन्दः, आदित्येहृदयभूतो
भगवान ब्रह्मा देवता निरस्ताशेषविघ्नतया ब्रह्मविद्यासिद्धौ सर्वत्र जयसिद्धौ च विनियोगः।
।। अथ आदित्य हृदय स्तोत्रम ।।

Introduction
ततो युद्धपरिश्रान्तं समरे चिन्तया स्थितम्।
रावणं चाग्रतो दृष्ट्वा युद्धाय समुपस्थितम् ।।१।।
दैवतैश्च समागम्य द्रष्टुमभ्यागतो रणम् ।
उपगम्या ब्रवीद्रामम् अगस्त्यो भगवान् ऋषिः ।।2।।

उधर थककर चिंता करते हुए श्री राम जी रणभूमि में खड़े थे, उतने में रावण भी युद्ध के लिए उनके सामने आ गया। यह देखकर अगस्त्य मुनि श्री राम चंद्र जी के पास गए और इस प्रकार बोले।।

Tato Yuddha-Parishraantam Samare Cintayaa Sthitam |
Raavannam Ca-Agrato Drssttvaa Yuddhaaya Samupasthitam ||1||

Upaagamya-Abraviid-Raamam-Agastyo Bhagavaan-Rssih ||2||

2.1: (Salutations to the Sun God) Having arrived along with the Devas to see the impending battle (between Rama and Ravana) …
2.2: … sage Agastya, the great Rishi filled with divine splendour, came near Rama and said: …

राम राम महाबाहो शृणु गुह्यं सनातनम् ।
येन सर्वानरीन् वत्स समरे विजयिष्यसि ।।3।।
आदित्य हृदयं पुण्यं सर्वशत्रु विनाशनम् ।
जयावहं जपेन्नित्यम् अक्षय्यं परमं शिवम् ।।4।।

सभी के हृदय में रमण करने वाले ( बसने वाले ) हे महाबाहो ( लम्बी भुजाओं वाले ) राम ! यह गोपनीय स्तोत्र सुनो। इस स्तोत्र के जप से तुम अवश्य ही शत्रुओं पर विजय पाओगे।। यह आदित्य ह्रदय स्तोत्र परम पवित्र और सभी शत्रुओं का विनाश करने वाला है। इसके जप से सदा ही विजय की प्राप्ति होती है। यह नित्य अक्षय तथा परम कल्याणकारी स्तोत्र है।।

Raama Raama Mahaa-Baaho Shrnnu Guhyam Sanaatanam |
Yena Sarvaan-Ariin-Vatsa Samare Vijayissyasi ||3||

Meaning:

3.1: (Salutations to the Sun God) O Rama, O Rama, one with mighty Arms (i.e. who is a great warrior); Listen to this eternal secret,
3.2: By which, My Son, you will be victorious against all enemies in the battle,Aaditya-Hrdayam Punnyam Sarva-Shatru-Vinaashanam |
Jaya-[A]avaham Japen-Nityam-Akssayyam Paramam Shivam ||4||

Meaning:

4.1: (Salutations to the Sun God) (Listen to the) Aditya Hridayam (Hymns of the Sun God), which is Sacred and Destroyer of all Enemies,
4.2: Which brings Victory if recited daily, and imparts Undecaying Auspiciousness of the highest kind,
Main Stotra

सर्वमङ्गल माङ्गल्यं सर्व पाप प्रणाशनम्।
चिन्ताशोक प्रशमनम् आयुर्वर्धन मुत्तमम् ।।5।।
रश्मिमन्तं समुद्यन्तं देवासुर नमस्कृतम् ।
पूजयस्व विवस्वन्तं भास्करं भुवनेश्वरम् ।।6।।

यह सभी मंगलों में भी मंगल और सभी पापों का नाश करने वाला यह स्तोत्र चिन्ता और शोक को मिटाने वाला और आयु को बढ़ाने वला है।। जो अनंत किरणों से शोभायमान ( रश्मिमान ), नित्य उदय होने वाले ( समुद्यंत ), देवों और असुरों दोनों के द्वारा नमस्कृत हैं, तुम विश्व में अपनी प्रभा ( प्रकाश ) फैलाने वाले संसार के स्वामी ( भुवनेश्वर ) भगवान् भास्करंका पूजन करो।।

Sarva-Manggala-Maanggalyam Sarva-Paapa-Prannaashanam |
Cintaa-Shoka-Prashamanam-Aayur-Vardhanam-Uttamam ||5||

Meaning:

5.1: (Salutations to the Sun God) He is the bestower of all-round Welfare (Sarva Mangala Mangalyam), and the remover of all Sins (Sarva Papa Pranashanam),
5.2: He heals the worries and griefs (which gets implanted in the mind due to adverse life experiences) (Chinta Shoka Prashamanam) and (imbues one with the excellent splendour of the Sun which) increases the Life Span (Ayur Vardhanam Uttamam),Rashmimantam Samudyantam Deva-Asura-Namaskrtam |
Puujayasva Vivasvantam Bhaaskaram Bhuvane[a-Ii]shvaram ||6||

Meaning:

6.1: (Salutations to the Sun God) The Sun is filled with Rays (Rashmimanta) and rises equally for all, spreading His illumination (Samudyanta); He is reverentially saluted by both the Devas and the Asuras (Deva Asura Namaskritam),
6.2: The Sun is to be worshipped who shines forth (Vivasvanta) creating His own Light (Bhaskara), and who is the Lord of the Universe (Bhuvaneshwaram),

सर्वदेवात्मको ह्येष तेजस्वी रश्मिभावनः ।
एष देवासुर गणान् लोकान् पाति गभस्तिभिः ।।7।।
एष ब्रह्मा च विष्णुश्च शिवः स्कन्दः प्रजापतिः ।
महेन्द्रो धनदः कालो यमः सोमो ह्यपां पतिः ।।8।।
